NEW IN 2017! The Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K will mail a limited number of bib numbers to participants for the 2017 event. This will be an option for participants at the point of registration and will only be available to the first 5,000 people who select to have their bib numbers mailed. Participants who opt to have their bib number mailed, will be able to pick up their Nike participant running shirt on race day.

There is an additional $15 charge for this option.

Post-Race Party

Celebrate your finish at the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K Post-Race Party immediately following the race. The Post-Race Party features live music. Runners will receive a drink ticket attached to their bib number that can be redeemed for one (1) Michelob ULTRA*. Additional drink tickets are available for purchase in advance at the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K Health & Fitness Expo or at the Post-Race Party.

The goal of the RRCA Championship Event Series is to shine a spotlight on well-run events and to award top performing runners in the open, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior grand masters (60+) categories for both men and women. The Good Life Race will be an RRCA 5K Regional Championship race this year!

All 5K, youth mile and fitness walk participants will receive a 100% polyester, "cotton feel" race tech shirt. Please check the sizing chart to be sure your shirt will fit well.
The course is flat, fast and USATF certified, View the course map.
The start and finish lines are at the Oak Park River Forest High School, 201 N. Scoville just north of Lake Street, Oak Park.
Help us reduce our carbon footprint by carpooling, using public transportation, or riding your bicycle to the event.
To determine the best route to travel via public transportation, either use the CTA's trip planner at http://tripsweb.rtachicago.com/. Since we are less than a mile from the Metra Oak Park stop serving the Union Pacific West Line you may want to take the train. You can view a schedule at Metra's web site: http://metrarail.com.
Bicycle parking is available at the race site near the start/finish area and behind the school next to the stadium
There is a parking garage on the corner of Scoville and Lake with 300 parking spots. There is a nominal charge for parking in the garage. In addition there is lots of free on-street parking south of Lake Street and west of the High School. Please look for no parking signs and DO NOT park along the race course.
The Good Life Race will be donating its proceeds to the Collaboration for Early Childhood and the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry. After the 2015 race we were proud to donate $25,000 to the Collaboration for Early Childhood. Help us top this amount in 2016! More info

Does your whole family enjoy running? Then why not compete as a Mother-Daughter team in the Women's 5K race or a Father-Son team in the men's 5K race? The top three teams in each category as determined by averaging the two-person team's race times will win an award!

The Community Team Challenge is a friendly competition for both the women's and men's' 5k races.
