(more info): Note: The Lake Carroll Triathlon, presented by Adrenaline Sports Management and the Lake Carroll Association, will be held on Sunday September 19, 2010 at Lake Carroll, IL at 9:00 am. Participants will swim, bike, and run through a breathtaking course, located in a private four-season resort community. This USA Triathlon sanctioned event will guide athletes through the scenic landscapes surrounding the 640 acre lake. All participants will receive a Lake Carroll custom designed T-shirt, participant medals, as well as many other amenities in the runner gift packets. Water and sport drinks will be provided before, during, and after the race. The triathlon is on a USA Triathlon sanctioned course and will be timed. The top three male and female competitors in each age division will be awarded trophies. SPRINT standard distances for this course are: 750m/ 0.5mi Swim, 20km/ 12.4mi Bike, 5km/ 3.1mi Run OLYMPIC standard distances of this course are: 1.5m/ 0.93 Swim, 40km/ 24.8mi Bike, 10km/ 6.2mi Run
